Abstract

Global warming is at the core of climate change. Therefore, understanding global warming is crucial to understand climate change and its adverse impacts so that appropriate measures can be taken up. However, the term, 'global warming' is commonly used by all and sundry, it is hardly understood by most including those students, who have studied about it. This is because global warming is the outcome of numerous factors, events and interactions that happen in the atmosphere which are complex in nature and complicated to explain. As a result, appropriate resources are not easily available that are suitable for students of different stages. Keeping this in view, the article attempts to present global warming comprehensively and holistically in such a manner that secondary stage students will be able to understand.
