Guidelines for Contributors
Nature of articles:
Research articles
School Science invites original articles on any of the major themes mentioned above. The article should range from 3000-7000 words including an abstract of 150–200 words 5–7 keywords, and references. The abstract should contain the purpose, methodology, findings, and implications of the study.
Review articles
Review articles should be within 3000-5000 words including references and abstract. The reviews must be coherent, concise and relevant to the field.
Book reviews
Book reviews should range from 1500-2500 words including abstract. Reviews should be well-structured and coherently composed and must not merely ‘list’ brief descriptions of the contents of the book.
General guidelines:
- Author(s) must provide a title page separately from the main manuscript containing the manuscript title, names, affiliations, e-mail IDs and postal addresses of all the contributors.
- The order in which manuscripts are to be prepared is: Title (Times New Roman font, 14-point size), Main text (Times New Roman font, 12-point size), Abstract, Keywords, Main text area, Conclusion and References. Photographs, Diagrams or line drawings should be submitted separately in JPEG/TIFF files with resolution of minimum 600 dpi. Tables (If any) should also be submitted in a separate file(s).
- Citations should follow the referencing style prescribed by the American Psychological Association (APA, Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, 7th Edition, 2020).
- Authors must provide a plagiarism report within the 10% threshold as well as AI content report along with an undertaking stating that the manuscript represents original work, has not been previously published in print or electronic form, and is not currently under consideration for publication elsewhere.
- Manuscript with all necessary files is to be sent ONLY by email to science@yahoo.com
- Receipt of articles will be acknowledged by email.
- All correspondence related to the journal will be conducted solely through the journal’s email.
