Abstract

Across the globe human civilisation has developed its unique set of knowledge through interaction with the environment that human beings live in. The ancient scientific knowledge developed through continuous efforts is still relevant today and is capable to sustain the modern society. The present paper analyses the secondary school textbooks to identify the scope for integrating relevant aspects of ancient Indian scientific knowledge in secondary school science curriculum. On the basis of analysis, suggestions are made on how to include Ancient Scientific Knowledge in secondary school science curriculum.
