Abstract

The obsessive-compulsive behaviour of checking email or social media updates is distracting and is conditioning the human mind to accept interruptions. Researches have proved that to focus back on whatever was being done before the interruption, usually takes 23 minutes. Also, studies have shown that the designing of the technologies is such that it is training the human mind to be self-disruptive every 3 and a half minutes.
