About the Journal
Historical Aspect
Voices of Teachers and Teacher Educators (VTTE) is a peer-reviewed, biannual, bilingual, e-journal housed in the Department of Teacher Education (DTE), NCERT. The issues are published in the months of July and December. The journal is dedicated to enhancing the discourse on teacher education in India, particularly at a time when the nation aims to ensure quality education for all children—irrespective of gender, caste, creed, religion, or geography.
